The Clinical Research Priority Program (CRPP) Viral Infectious Diseases is a research project initiated in 2012 and funded by the University of Zurich. It comprises two main research domains:
The Zurich Primary HIV Infection (ZPHI) Study is exploring new treatment strategies in patients with primary HIV-1 infection.
The Viral Metagenome Project uses a metagenomic approach for virus diagnostic and management in immunocompromised patients.
Together, the CRPP Viral Infectious Disease is a very collaborative and multidisciplinary initiative at the crossover of virology, molecular medicine, transplantation medicine and immunology.
